The WNC High School Disc Golf League was started in the fall of 2011 by Jason Urroz. It is (as far as we can tell-- and nobody has corrected us yet) the longest running high school disc golf league in the country (world?)

Details: For the spring 2023 regular season, varsity and jv/girls played different layouts, and individual points were awarded for every person that a player scored better than in their own division only (hence a drop in total points from the fall season). For team scoring: during each event, varsity scored the top 3 players per team, where the girls and jv divisions scored the top 2 players per team.
2023 was also the first year of a season ending WNC regional championship, which is scored and represented separately from the regular season results.
